What's involved with a wrap?

All wraps including wall murals, vehicle wraps, boat wraps, and building graphics are large vinyl decals that are custom designed and printed and involve three phases. First, we take the appropriate measurements. Next, we craft a design that conveys your message and brand to your specifications and print and laminate the graphics protecting your substrate from abrasion and UV rays. Finally, we install the wrap on your vehicle, wall or floor.

How can I justify the cost of a vehicle wrap?

The cost per impression of a vehicle wrap is significantly less than digital advertising, television, radio, or billboards. Your wrap is working to promote your business 24 hours a day. Vehicle advertising generates between 30,000 – 70,000 daily impressions, equaling about 8.4 million impressions a calendar year!

Can I pressure wash my vehicle after the installation?

Please DO NOT pressure wash the vehicle after installation of the vinyl. Some pressure washers can potentially lift up the vinyl because of improper use of the water pressure. We always recommend hand washing vehicle wraps to get the most life out of them.

How long do you need my vehicle for installation?

Normal installation takes between one and two days depending on how much coverage has to be applied.

How much does a wrap cost?

Every project has a set of variables. We link pricing directly with square foot coverage, types of vinyl used, and the complication of the installation.

Will you provide color and art proofs before printing?

Yes. We will not print anything until you are completely satisfied with your design and have physically approved the design and color proof.

Why should I wrap my car vs. using vinyl lettering or painted?

Having your car or truck wrapped allows for unlimited graphics and an extravagant look to your vehicle. Paint decreases the value of your vehicle, and vinyl lettering often leaves “shadows” when removed. Wrapping your vehicle can protect the paint, and most auto dealerships prefer wrapping their leased vehicles.

What's the difference between a 1/2, 3/4, and a full wrap?

What’s the difference between a ½, ¾, and full wrap?

A 1/2 Wrap includes the entire rear of the vehicle and 1/2 way up the vehicle and includes a hood logo. 3/4 Wrap includes the entire rear of the vehicle and 3/4 way up the vehicle and includes a hood logo. Full Wrap includes the entire surface of the vehicle except for the roof.

How long will my wrap last?

If you are doing the inside walls of your business, the wrap may last for years, depending on sun exposure. Typical vehicle wraps are good for 3+ years. Floor wraps in high-traffic areas don’t last quite so long because of all the traffic!

What is a vehicle wrap?

Can I take my vehicle wrap through the carwash?

We DO NOT recommend running your vehicle through a carwash because but the longevity of the wrap may be compromised. We recommend hand washing your vehicle to ensure extending the life of your vehicle wrap. Please avoid high-pressure washers and harsh chemicals.  ** PLEASE WAIT AT LEAST 3 WEEKS BEFORE ANY WASHING **

Do wraps damage my paint?

No, not at all. A vehicle wrap, when applied and removed correctly by a professional installer, will protect your paint-job from minor scratches! The only way the paint on your vehicle could become damaged is if the paint was either already chipped/damaged upon installation of the wrap or if you applied a new coat of paint over the existing OEM.  

How large of a vehicle can you wrap?

Because of the printing process and technology Lion Grafix uses, there isn’t any limitation to the size of wraps we can do, we offer from the small like Golf Carts to RVs and Tour Busses.

Should we have the roof wrapped?

That is up to you; however, we recommend not wrapping the roof. In most cases, the roof is never seen and not worth the extra cost to our clients.

What if my company logo or phone number changes in the future?

Lion Grafix can print your logo, phone numbers, websites, sponsors, or any other graphics as overlays on the vinyl wrap, which can be removed and replaced as much as possible.

How long will it take to do my wrap?

We can wrap a single vehicle or boat in a day or less. A large indoor wall graphic or outside building wrap may take several days.

Do I have to wash my vehicle before installation?

This is where the text for the front of your card should go. It's best to keep it short and sweet.

Yes. All vehicles have to be free of dust, mud, pollen, and other agents that may slow down the installation process. 

What if I dent a side of my car, can my car wrap be fixed?

Yes, we can easily replace the damaged pieces or panels of your car wrap.

How do you wrap the windows, and can I see out of them?

We use printed window perforation film or “window perf”. The vinyl is perforated with tiny holes that allow you to see through the adhesive side. From the inside of the vehicle, visibility is similar to regular window tint. Our Window Perf is laminated with an optically clear film that protects from color fading, abrasion and keeps dirt and water from getting into the perforation.

Do we laminate the vehicle wrap?

Laminating helps the durability and longevity of your vehicle wrap. Lion Grafix laminates every vehicle wrap to make sure you get the most use out of it.

Do I have to get a full wrap or do I have other options?

We are happy to work with your budget and review all options to ensure you get you the most for your dollar. You can do just windows or partial wraps. We can even design wraps to start out with just perforated window material and then add onto it as your business grows to make the wrap complete.
